- June 25 - A guest exits Indiana Jones Adventure claiming a very severe headache. She is diagnosed with a brain hemorrhage upon being admitted to a nearby hospital.
- September 22 - A 4-year old boy falls out of a car in Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin, causing series internal injuries and brain damage.
- The Mickey and Friends Parking Structure at Disneyland Resort, is completed. At the time, it is the largest parking structure in the United States.
- The renovated Autopia reopens in Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park.
