Amos was protagonist of the short Ben and Me (1953).
History[]
Background[]
Amos was a small mouse struggling to support his family of twenty-six other mice while living in a church in 18th century Philadelphia. In 1745, he came across Benjamin Franklin and gave him the ideas of many of his inventions. Ben signed a contract for Amos to give him more of his ideas, after which Amos gave Franklin the ideas for the opening lines of the Declaration of Independence.
