History[]

Background[]

Origins[]

The area which became Blizzard Beach was hit by a freak Floridian snowstorm which covered it in snow and ice. Afterwords, Florida's first ski resort was constructed on the land, only for the Florida sun to start melting the snow and ice. Executives then saw an alligator called, "Ice Gator" slide down the ski slope like a waterslide and crash into the roof of the Beach Haus. This, gave executives the idea to turn Blizzard Beach into a water-park with Ice Gator as their mascot.[3]

Later history[]

At some point, Blizzard Beach became the summer-house for Santa Claus and his elves. The area has also had connections and presences of characters from the kingdom Arendelle, notably with Elsa's snow creations Olaf and the Snowgies appearing.
