Buzzy was the protagonist of the extinct Epcot attraction Cranium Command in the Wonders of Life Pavilion.

"Buzzy" was one of many miniature humanoids enlisted in "Cranium Command", a military-like organization of "Cranium Commandos" who pilot what appears to be the brains of automated humans. According to Buzzy, his mother still dresses him. Buzzy's section of Cranium Command appeared to have been based out of the Wonders of Life pavilion in Epcot.
Cranium Command[]
When the tough General Knowledge was transferred in-charge of Buzzy's part of Cranium Command, Buzzy showed up to the debrief/drill late and made a fool of himself in-front of the general. Because of this, the General hounded Buzzy before ordering him to do push-ups. When the troops were being deployed, General Knowledge dismayed upon learning that Buzzy was to be put in-charge of the most difficult brain to manage, that of a twelve-year old boy named Bobby. General Knowledge threatened Buzzy by saying that if he botched the mission, he would be put inside the brain of a chicken until he reached a "Diamond's age".
Buzzy went on to lead the many entities within this twelve-year old in piloting the boy's body. On the day Buzzy piloted this child, he skipped breakfast, ran to school, got involved in a food fight with bullies who picked on his crush Amy, then kissed Amy. Buzzy learned to balance the various different needs of the body and brain on this mission. Afterwards, the general told Buzzy to keep up the good work.

Creation[]
The attraction, as conceived by Rolly Crump, was originally going to have three animatronic characters representing emotion, intellect and the nervous system. Crump was later replaced by Imagineer Steve Kirk in the mid 1980s. The lead audio-animatronic character was developed as "Captain Cortex" who, inspired by Captain Kirk from Star Trek, would have been cocky and overly confident.
The character was then re-written and redesigned as "Sparky", though an animatronic of Captain Cortex was already created and needed to be retro-fitted. Buzzy's audio-animatronic was designed by Imagineer X. Atencio while his animated self was designed by animator David Pruiksma. The Wonders of Life Pavilion permanently closed down on January 1, 2007 without an officially given reason.

- Merchandise and other materials often depicted Buzzy at a larger size relative to non-miniature characters such as SMRT-1.
