Captain Enrique Sánchez Monastario is the arch-enemy of Zorro from ABC Zorro television series.

Biography[]
Captain Monasterio was charismatic but cruel commandante who occupied El Pueblo de Nuestra Señora Reina de los Angeles sobre El Rio Porciuncula (modern Los Angeles) in 1820. He became a recurring enemy of the mysterious vigilante, "Zorro" whom ultimately defeated Monasterio and his men.

Frontierland[]
Captain Monastario and his henchmen used to appear in Disneyland's Frontierland, fighting Zorro. Monasterio himself would engage in sword-fights with Zorro atop the Mark Twain Riverboat.
Trivia[]
- It has been theorized that the soldiers who Zorro fought in Thunder Mesa belonged to the captain.
