Queen Cleopatra VII Thea Philopator (69/70-30 BC) is a historic queen of Egypt's Ptolemaic Kingdom, and the last Hellenistic (Greek) Pharaoh of Egypt. She defeated her brother/husband, Ptolemy XIII, in a civil war for rulership of Egypt, sided with Gaius Julius Caesar, and had an affair with Roman General Mark Antony before taking her own life to avoid the wrath of Emperor Octavius.
