Dr. Jaclyn "Jackie" Ogden is a character from Avatar Flight of Passage.

History[]

Background[]

Origins[]

Dr. Jaclyn "Jackie" Ogden was a human scientist on the planet Pandora during the 22nd century. She studied the alien animal, "Banshees" and wrote a book on them called, "Ikran: My Connection - Life with the Banshee".

Flight of Passage[]

Doctor Ogden was part of the Pandora Conservation Initiative active in the Valley of Mo'ara. Here, she used an old mining facility left by the villainous Resources Development Administration to serve as a lab and continue the, "Avatar" program, implanting human consciousnesses into the bodies of alien Na'vi/human hybrids. Ogden did this so that human guests could ride on the backs of Banshees and participate in the Iknimaya Rite of Passage.

During Ogden's time at the Pandora Conservation Initiative, her underling was a male scientist named Dr. Stevens. Ogden also teamed up with the Na'vi female Valke of the Kekunan Clan to serve as guests' guides.

Appearances[]

Avatar Flight of Passage[]

Dr. Ogden's book, "Ikran: My Connection - Life with the Banshee" appears in the queue. Dr. Stevens makes multiple references to Dr. Ogden and shows pictures of her during the attraction's pre-show.

Trivia[]

  • Dr. Ogden resembles Dr. Grace Augustine from the original Avatar movie.
  • Ogden contributes to Avatar Flight of Passage's infamously jarring pre-show, as Dr. Stevens makes multiple references to her throughout his awkward video-call, without her character's set-up receiving any notable payoff.
