Origins[]
Fozzie Bear is a bear who tried making it as a stand-up comedian. While performing at the El Sleazo Cafe, his act bombed resulting in him being booed. Here, he met Kermit the Frog who was travelling to Hollywood to make his career as a star. Kermit joined Fozzie on-stage and saved Fozzie's act by dancing with him. When the act ended, a brawl ensued so Fozzie joined with Kermit on his journey and became his close friend. Along the way, they also brought along Gonzo with Gonzo's girlfriend Camilla, while befriending many other Muppets.
The Muppets made it to Hollywood where they signed a standard "Rich and famous" contract. Fozzie became the in-house comedian of the Muppet Show, thought his corny jokes were often heckled by Statler & Waldorf in the audience.
Muppet*Vision 3D[]
Fozzie was one of the Muppets involved with Muppet*Vision 3D in the Grand Arts Theatre. Fozzie was known to have an unwanted presence in the theatre's "Department of Comedic Timing & Delivery".
Before the show, Fozzie called the orchestra into the theatre for rehearsal. Fozzie attempted to use 3D gimmicks, much to the dismay of Kermit as well as Statler and Waldorf who heckled him. When Bean Bunny ran away with Waldo C. Graphic, Fozzie was amongst those who found him to convince Bean to come back.

Muppet*Vision 3D[]
Fozzie makes multiple appearances in Muppet*Vision 3D. A statue of Fozzie appears on the fountain outside, as a cameraman for Miss Piggy's number. In the queue, there is a poster of Fozzie Bear looking for a job.[1] In the security office is a wanted poster of Fozzie for "Impersonating a comic". The directory, which identifies different Muppets running different departments, identifies the "Department of Comedic Timing & Delivery" with the message "Take Fozzie Bear - Please". In the pre-show area, there is a portrait of Fozzie dressed as King Henry the 8th.
In the show, Fozzie attempts various 3D tricks to the dismay of Kermit, and causing him to be heckled by Statler and Waldorf. He compliments Sweetums' use of a 3D ping-pong ball, before helping locate Bean Bunny.
