General Information

Haunted Mansion Holiday is a Christmas dark ride make-over at Disneyland Park CA and is the holiday version of the Haunted Mansion. It is based on the Touchstone and Disney film produced by Tim Burton known as The Nightmare Before Christmas. It is made over early October and ends in the New Year in Disneyland. It also appears at the Tokyo Disneyland Haunted Mansion attraction. The Tokyo Disneyland Version is call "The Haunted Mansion Holiday Nightmare" instead of "The Haunted Mansion Holiday."

Guests board a Black "Doom" Sleigh (called Doom Buggies in off season) after the narrator describes how Jack Skellington decides to take over Christmas. Guests see Zero floating through the haunted hallway, then see haunted flowers and coffins singing before heading to the scene where the crystal ball recites "The 12 Days of Christmas" in a halloween version (Ex: she says,"My Goo Love Gave to Me"). Visitors then enter the dining room to see a stack of my presents next to a christmas tree while spirits dance to the music. After that, a room full of ghoulish twists on popular toys and presents abound, where an enormous, living rubber snake is devouring the "Naughty/Nice" list. Jack describes his plans to take over Christmas to guests in the graveyard before they get abducted by the evil Oogie Boogie (a oarody of the Boogie Man myth). Oogie plans to have guests take a spin on "Oogie's spinning wheel", planning to attack and eat guests. Guests escape while passing Oogie's three minions (Lock, Shock, and Barrel). Sally says goodbye as guests exit the attraction.
