Hollywood Land (formerly Hollywood Pictures Backlot) is one of the themed lands located at Disney California Adventure Park at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. It opened as one of Disney's California Adventure's original lands on February 8, 2001. It is designed to look like a fictional version of Hollywood and studio backlot, and many of the building facades are inspired by real-life Los Angeles buildings and landmarks, similar to Disney's Hollywood Studios' Hollywood Boulevard. As part of Disney California Adventure's "Re-Imagineering" and expansion, Hollywood Pictures Backlot was renamed and rethemed as "Hollywood Land." The Red Car Trolley runs through Hollywood Land.
