Lambert Lion also known as Lambert the Sheepish Lion is a character from the 1952 animated short, Lambert the Sheepish Lion.

Background[]
Lambert was a lion cub accidentally delivered to a sheep known as Mrs. Sheep by Mr. Stork. When Mr. Stork tried correcting his mistake, Mrs. Sheep attacked the bird and chased him off. Due to growing up an outcast amongst sheep, Lambert became very cowardly and sheepish. When a wolf tried attacking the sheep herd, Lambert scared it off, causing him to become accepted.
Lambert would go on to become a member of the Storybook Circus where he was presented as "Lambert the Man-Eater!".
