Disneyland[]

  • Tomorrowland was originally set in the year 1986. This is as 1986 marked the return of Haley's Comet, the same comet which author Sam Clemens was born on and died on the return of. Due to light pollution, 1986 wound up becoming one of the years of lowest visibility for the comet.
  • The removed live-character Space Girl's likeness is used on a roastie toastie in Tomorrowland, replacing one which depicted the Rocketeer.[1]
  • For Valentines day, valentines day cards from Minnie Mouse for the Little Green Men, Stitch and Nemo have been hidden in Tomorrowland.[2]
  • All the plants in Tomorrowland's gardens are edible.
  • Over Tomorrowland is the abandoned PeopleMover track. This includes the observatory-like structure of the, "Observatron" which used to activate every 15 minutes, rotate, and play soundtracks for: Disneyland Paris’ Space Mountain theme, Iron Will, The Rocketeer and Le Visionarium.[3] This was shut down at some point in the 2000s.
  • The Tomorrowland background area music provides arrangements of music from defunct attractions such as: The Timekeeper, Seize the Future from ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter, If You Had Wings, Miracles from Molecules from Adventure Thru Inner Space, There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow from Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress, and the song The Best Time of Your Life which was removed from Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress. Songs from films also are present.
Alien Pizza Planet Permanent Version

Alien Pizza Planet[]

  • The rocket outside of the restaurant is the Moonliner, a rocket icon of Tomorrowland which was originally designed by Trans World Airlines to promote their planned interstellar travel, and which was affiliated with the attraction Rocket to the Moon. Alien Pizza Planet's rocket is one third the size of the original was added to Redd Rockett's Pizza Port as part of the, "New Tomorrowland" expansion and Coca Cola sponsorship.

Autopia[]

  • The billboard screen in the load-area for Autopia sometimes shows a post-card for Autopia with the message, "Greetings from the Magic Highway- Tom Morrow". This references Tomorrowland's mayor Tom Morrow who originates from extinct attraction Rocket to the Moon.
  • There are various easter-eggs hidden within the pre-show videos:
    • The pose which ASIMO and Bird have in the bottom-right of a movie-theatre while watching the pre-show videos is a tribute to the robot characters in cult-classic comedy series Mystery Science Theatre 3000.
    • Bird's desk shown in the queue has sketches of flying machines made by Leonardo da Vinci.
    • The pre-show safety video shows ASIMO & Bird watching a screen depicting the House of the Future.[4]
    • ASIMO has a sculpture of Mickey and Pluto at its desk.
    • While in a boat releasing lanterns, the two parallel Rapunzel and Eugene from Tangled.
    • The two visiting New Orleans references Disneyland's New Orleans Square and the Haunted Mansion. The ghost tours sign is modelled after the Ghost Relations Department sign, while the Hatbox Ghost appears behind them and the Raven to their side.
  • The old pre-show safety videos showed a "Tomorrowland Retro-Cam" with a "Lost Lenny" driving past the House of the Future and World Clock.
  • Route 55 references Disneyland's opening year.
  • Along the roads is a sculpture depicting one of the original "Midget Autopia Cars". The plaque on the pedestal reads, "Midget Autopia, Fantasyland, 1956-1965".[5]

Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters[]

  • Buzz's Etch-A-Sketch is based on Etch from Toy Story.
  • In the final scene, Zurg is imprisoned in his box and a receipt is signed to return him to Al's Toy Barn. The receipt also identifies various of the toys in the attraction as coming from Al's Toy Barn.

Disneyland Railroad[]

  • The Primeval World diorama is based on the Rite of Spring segment of Fantasia (1940), and repurposes figures from the Ford Magic Skyway of the 1964 World's Fair.
  • There are many highly inaccurate depictions of prehistoric life in the diorama:

Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage[]

Queue[]

  • Similar to Hidden Mickeys, Nemo's likeness can be found around the lagoon and near both Autopia and Matterhorn Bobsleds as "Hidden Nemos".[6]
  • Pipes in the queue are labelled, "TL-59" referencing the original attraction's opening date of 1959 while those labelled "TL-55" reference Tomorrowland's opening date in 1955.
  • The names of various submarines have nautical easter-eggs. The Argonaut references Jason's ship from Greek myth, Neptune references the Roman God of the sea, and the Triton references Poseidon's son. The 107 Nautilus submarine is named for the Nautilus from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and for the historic USS Nautilus (SSN-571) which inspired the original Submarine Voyage attraction.
  • The marine observation outpost of Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage is used for riders who can't go in the physical submarines.

Ride[]

  • The scuba divers are Dr. Philip and Darla Sherman, antagonists from Finding Nemo.
  • The Hydrophones were items used in the plot of the original Submarine Voyage. They are also used in the Finding Nemo attraction Turtle Talk with Crush.
  • At the end of the attraction, the submarine captain jokes about seeing a sea serpent or a mermaid while the boat passes by rock formations resembling the sea serpent and mermaids which appeared in the original Submarine Voyage.

Space Mountain[]

Entrance[]

  • The queue videos identify Space Station 77 as being run by the League of Planets, a fictional organization from the Magic Kingdom's backstory for the Astro-Orbiter.
  • The safety videos show Stitch from Lilo & Stitch as an example of large luggage.
  • The code DL05 appears in the load area, standing for "Disneyland 2005" when Space Mountain received an overhaul as part of Disneyland's 50th anniversary event.
  • Operative Captain J. Hench is a tribute to the attraction's designer, John Hench.

Ride[]

  • The number code on the spacecraft over the lift-hill is, "X-1", possibly a tribute to the defunct X-1 Space Station attraction. This may also connect it to the X-2 Space Shuttle from Mission: SPACE in EPCOT.[7]

Starcade[]

  • The Starcade featured the Fix it Felix Jr. video-game, which is home to Wreck-it Ralph and Fix it Felix Jr., along with the arcade-game TRON.

Star Tours: The Adventures Continue[]

  • Star Tours: The Adventures Continue is a prequel to the original Star Tours, taking place before the events of Episode IV while Star Tours took place after the events of Episode VI. While the original iteration of Star Tours: The Adventures Continue attempted to make itself fit within Star Wars cannon, it was later updated with elements of the Star Wars sequel movie trilogy and Disney+ series which had no explanation of existing within the timeline.

Queue[]

  • Spaceport THX1138 is named after the George Lucas film THX 1138 (1971).
  • The design of the spaceport was taken from the space-station Valor from the Star Wars: The Clone Wars episode, "Point of No Return".
  • The silhouette in the window shows Jar Jar Binks frozen in carbonite, being carried through.
    • This is similar to Jar Jar's cameo in the video-game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (2008).
  • Mickey Mouse's Astromech droid R2-MK is seen passing by a window.
  • The PA makes a call for Egroeg Sacul which is George Lucas spelled backwards, and Mot Worrom, which is, "Tom Morrow" spelled backwards.[8] Tom Morrow is a character from various attractions who was called on the P.A. system in the original Star Tours.
  • The multiple "Goose Droids" are so named due to having animatronics repurposed from the Singing Geese of America Sings. They will sometimes allude to these origins, such as when they whistle "I've been working on the railroad".
  • The luggage passing by G2-9T contains various gags and easter eggs:[9]

    • V.I.N.CENT: Another robot, this time from The Black Hole (1979). This alludes to how before Star Wars was settled on as the basis for Star Tours as an attraction, TRON and The Black Hole were both considered.
    • WALL-E:
    • WALL-E's belongings:
    • Figment plush:
    • Major Domo: A case containing a contraband robot, this time from Captain EO. This references the involvement which George Lucas had on Captain EO.
    • Madame Leota & Books: This case contains the ghost Madame Leota from the Haunted Mansion. G2-9T will then quote the Ghost Host, saying, " Mm-hm. This one offers a chilling challenge… to find out what it is! Of course, there’s always my way" before clearing the luggage.
    • Microscope & Snowflake: Tributes to Adventure Thru Inner Space, which Disneyland's Star Tours replaced.
    • Space Helmets: Space helmets and air-tanks marked with the logo of Space Mountain and "DASA" (Disneyland Aeronautical and Space Administration).
    • A Trap:
    • Battle Droids: Contraband droids which will speak to G2-9T, repeating "Roger Roger" which G2-9T interprets as them calling him by the name Roger. G2-9T will quote Flower from Bambi and say "You can call me Roger, if you want to".
    • Bowcaster:

    • Protocol Droid: A protocol droid who insults G2-9T causing him to exclaim "How rude". This references C-3PO's encounter with E-3PO in Empire Strikes Back, implying it may be E-3PO in the luggage.

  • Outside of his luggage, G2-9T has easter-eggs in his dialogue.
    • In the original Star Tours, G2-9T worked on droid repair. He foreshadows this fate by expressing his contempt for that job possibility.
    • G2-9T mentions having recovered Jabba the Hutt's metal bikini, used in the movies on his slave dancers.
    • G2-9T accidentally mentions that he knows the location of the Rebel Base on Yavin.
    • G2-9T encourages guests to bet on Sebulba in Pod Races as he cheats. This references the character from Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace, and foreshadows how racing against Sebulba is one of the attraction's possibilities.
    • G2-9T will tell some guests they look like Jar Jar Binks to him.
    • After napping, G2-9T and his supervisor will recreate Han Solo's "Situation normal" dialogue from the original Star Wars.

    In the queue is a box containing RX-24, the pilot of the original Star Tours attraction. He is labelled as, "DEFECTIVE" and repeats dialogue from the original Star Tours attraction. One of the Goose Droids mentions that Star Tours purchased a large quantity of defective RX pilot droids.
  • Aly San San has a design based on the WA-7 service unit waitress droid from Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones.
  • Aly San San's name is a tribute to her actress, Allison Jenney.
  • AC-38 has a design inspired by RX-24.
  • Various Star Wars characters make cameos in the safety video. This includes Chewbacca from the main series, Kaink and Teek from the Ewok specials and Jabba the Hutt's henchman Ree Yees.
  • The code " N1C7C01" referencing NCC-1701, the ID of the Enterprise from Star Trek.
  • Another piece of code is TWB3000, referencing Imagineer Tony Baxter and the 3000 model speeders from the original Star Tours.

Ride[]

  • The Signal Droids are based on INS-444 window installation droids from Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones.
  • In the opening where the ship is stopped by Sky Troopers and a Seeker Droid, Han Solo and the Millennium Falcon are visible in the background where they shoot a Stormtrooper then make off.

TomorrowLanding[]

  • The sign says "Gifts from Outer and Liquid Space" tributing the defunct Submarine Voyage Thru Liquid Space attraction.

  • Outside of the American Space Experience was a mural with various stylized pieces of Tomorrowland iconography. This included the Disneyland Railroad, Viewliner Train of Tomorrow, Monorail, Flying Saucer, snowflake from Adventure Thru Inner Space, equipment from the Monsanto Hall of Chemistry, Tomorrowland World Clock, silhouette of Space Mountain, PeopleMover, the Moonliner, the Nautilus, and Phantom Boats.[10]

Club Buzz[]

  • There was a sculpture of the House of the Future in this area.

Innoventions[]

  • The host character Tom Morrow originally appeared in Rocket to the Moon albeit presented as a human.
  • On the the outdoors mural was the Robot Butler from defunct EPCOT attraction Horizons.
  • A mural in Innoventions showed a mural of Tomorrowland. In the mural was a gazebo with the silhouettes of Sam and Ollie from America Sings within.[11]
  • The mural outside of Disneyland's Innoventions had the House of the Future on it. A miniature of the house also appeared within the living room scene.[12]
  • The V.A.U.L.T. exhibit is inspired by the Vault from Marvel Comics, a supervillain prison which holds enemies of the Avengers.
  • Several super-hero items appeared in the V.A.U.L.T. exhibit such as Ant-Man's suit, Falcon's wings and Rocket Raccoon's blaster.

  • Much of Discoveryland was influenced by Tony Baxter's unused plans for the steampunk themed land of Discovery Bay, proposed for Disneyland.
  • There is a depicting WALL-E and EVE holding hands, with a heart carved in the support-beam nearby reading "WALL-E + EVE". Nearby is a Buy 'n' Large logo.

Autopia[]

  • 9-Eye appears hovering behind the Boxobot, tributing The Timekeeper which Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast replaced.

Café Hyperion[]

  • This dining-service is themed to The Island at the Top of the World (1974), a movie which Baxter planned on being central to Discovery Bay but which the commercial failure of influenced the land being scrapped.

  • The outside of Constellations has artwork depicting the Nautilus, an Autopia car, the Hyperion, a Jules Verne inspired space-craft, a StarSpeeder, and various other vehicles.

  • Ned Land's turtle-shell guitar appears on the Nautilus, inside of the treasure room.[13]

  • The Orbitron is sometimes referenced as "The Leonardo Da Vinci attraction", appearing to be modelled off of his planet artwork.

Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain: Rebel Mission[]

  • Remnants of Disneyland Paris' original Space Mountain appear throughout the queue. Throughout this iteration of Space Mountain are the initials "DM", referencing how this incarnation of the attraction was originally going to be named "Discovery Mountain".

  • Tomorrowland was the only Magic Kingdom land not invaded by Hades in Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom. It was indirectly referred to in the attraction however.
  • The Tomorrowland background area music provides arrangements of music from defunct attractions such as: The Timekeeper, Seize the Future from ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter, If You Had Wings, Miracles from Molecules from Adventure Thru Inner Space, and the song The Best Time of Your Life which was removed from Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress. Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin[]

  • The show is based on the Buzz Lightyear of Star Command cartoon and gimmicked around the characters and props resembling toys.
  • The batteries are called "Crystallic Fusion Batteries" which Buzz mentions in the first Toy Story movie.
  • The Box-O-Bot is inspired by Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots, such as those which appeared in Toy Story 2.
  • The Green Hens are a tribute to defunct attraction Delta Dreamflight which Space Ranger Spin replaced.
  • The plant monster resembles alien plant monster Audrey 2 from Little Shop of Horrors (1986).
  • The Blue Pterodactyl is based on one of Sid's toys from Toy Story.
  • The target on Zurg's chest is worth 50,000 points.

Buzz's Star Command[]

  • The saluting alien in Star Command uniform is Booster Munchapper from the Buzz Lightyear of Star Command cartoon.
  • The mural used to have Commander Nebula and XR from Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. Hidden in the background was Stitch's stolen ship from Lilo & Stitch.

Cool Ship[]

  • The Thirst Rangers space-ship is made from a prop used to portray the Trimaxion Drone Ship in Flight of the Navigator (1986).
  • "Coca Cola" is written in an alien alphabet.

Merchant of Venus[]

  • This area is named after William Shakespeare's play, The Merchant of Venice.
  • There used to be a sculpture of Stitch, bursting out of the ceiling.
  • The Merchant of Venus is decorated with in-universe posters from Tomorrowland's largely-removed "New Tomorrowland" expansion.[14]
  • Easter eggs and tributes in the merchant's collection include:[15]
    • A poster for the Timekeeper and 9-Eye's live demonstrations of time travel, used to promote extinct attraction The Timekeeper.
    • A poster for Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe with Sonny Eclipse on it.
    • The League of Planets' poster for the Astro-Orbiter.
    • A poster for, "The 225th annual Antique Rocket Show and Swoop Meet" which has the Moonliner on it.
    • A poster for the Tomorrowland Towers Hover-Hotel in the Hover Burbs referenced on the PeopleMover, and which has a tribute to the Skyway on it.
    • A promotion for the Recreational Vehicle Launch Show, advertised outside of ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter. The promotion mentions the Tomorrowland Interplanetary Convention Center, the setting for the attraction which was later repurposed to represent Tomorrowland Urban Planning.

Mickey's Star Traders[]

  • In this gift-shop, there used to be a mural of a futuristic city. Hidden on this mural, was Stitch, charging alongside a monorail.[16]

Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor[]

  • There are multiple photographs of Mike Wazowski which fail to carry on the franchise's running joke of always obscuring his appearance in images.
  • Mike's dressing-room is a repurposed maintenance closet.
  • The pre-show videos have footage repurposed from the film.
  • The monster Nesse seeking a car-pool on the bulletin-board is a reference to the Loch Ness monster, a cryptid mentioned in the film as having been banished to the human world.
  • A bulletin board mentions the sushi restaurant Harryhausen's from the film. This restaurant is named for legendary stop-motion animator Ray Harryhausen (1920-2013).
  • Mike's positive reviews on the bulletin board come from his girlfriend Celia, and relatives Mr. & Mrs. Lawrence Wazowski.[17]
  • One of Mike's, "Monsters of Comedy" images shows him wearing Groucho Marx glasses.
  • There is a visual gag of Sam & Ella having separate profile images on the Monsters of Comedy wall, while the monsters share the same body.

PeopleMover[]

  • This attraction used to be known as the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover.
  • The name of the ORAC-5 is a reference to how it is the fifth main iteration of the TTA PeopleMover's narrator; though only ORAC-5 and ORAC-1 were identified as being robots. It is possibly that this has retconned the other three narrators into being different iterations of ORAC, though Jack Wagner's narrator predates the ORAC-1.
  • ORAC-5 starts a safety-announcement “If you have wings, jetpacks, or gravity polarizers-” as a tribute to defunct Tomorrowland attraction, If You Had Wings.
  • While promoting Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor, ORAC states "Whether you have one eye or nine, take the time to see this show", alluding to the robot 9-Eye from The Timekeeper, the attraction which used the building before the Laugh Floor.
  • "This is my favorite part because now is the time, now is the best time to go out and explore tomorrow today” is in reference to the song "Best Time of Your Life" from Carousel of Progress.
  • While passing by Space Mountain, there is audio of a woman in a control tower calling for Tom Morrow to meet with Mister Johnson in the Control Tower to confirm his flight to the moon. Tom Morrow originates from the defunct attraction Rocket to the Moon, while Mister Johnson was his replacement character in Mission to Mars. An older version was the announcement "Paging Mr. Morrow. Mr. Tom Morrow. Your party from Saturn has arrived. Please give them a ring".
  • The woman at the hair dryer has Mickey Mouse on her belt.
  • Another removed piece of audio relating to Mister Johnson had him say "Hi there Tomorrowland travelers, this is Mr. Johnson in Sky View Hovercraft-1 bringing you the latest Tomorrowland Transit report. As usual, everything is perfect on Tomorrowland's super highways. Back to you at TTA Central", the super highways being another name for the Tomorrowland Speedway/Autopia.

Rockettower Plaza[]

  • The Metrophone allows for phone-calls with different Tomorrowland characters. These include:
    • Corona Borealis of the Tomorrowland News Network.
    • Callina Lunar, representative of Rocket Realty selling property in the Hover-Burbs.
    • Earth Crust Pizza.
    • A woman's answering machine who mentions being harassed by a Martian named Zygorx who wants to date her.
    • Sonny Eclipse's agent, Johnny Jupiter.
    • A warning of a robot criminal.
    • The Psychic Robot Network.
    • A woman with a child named Halley Comet.
  • There used to be a, "Robo-Newz" robot selling newspapers. His main story was "Ring leader has been captured on Saturn" while originally his newspapers featured stories covering the events of ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter. These were later covered over with Galaxy Gazette stories of Stitch escaping and finding his way to Tomorrowland, tying into the story of Stitch's Great Escape!.[18]

The Lunching Pad[]

  • This dining-service has sold chicken wings called "If You Had Wings", a tribute to the defunct Tomorrowland attraction If You Had Wings.[19]

  • The screen will show logos and messages from different Tomorrowland groups. This includes Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, the Tomorrowland Metro-Retro Historical Society, Monsters, Incorporated, the Tomorrowland Transit Authority, and Starport Seven-Five.

  • The map of destinations mentions the fictional "Disney's Hyperion Resort". The name references Hyperion Street where Walt and Roy Disney had their first studio.
  • The active Earth Ports reference different versions of Space Mountain including: Tomorrowland Station MK-1 (the Magic Kingdom), TL Space Station 77 (Disneyland's which opened in 1977), Discovery Landing Station – Paris (Discoveryland at Disneyland Paris), Ashita Base – Tokyo (Tokyo Disneyland's; Ashita is Japanese for "Tomorrow") and HK Spaceport E-TKT (Hong Kong Disneyland; E-TKT alludes to Disney's E-Ticket system).
  • The lunar station, "Verne Settlement Two-Eight" references author Jules Verne.
  • Space Mountain used to have television screens playing, "SMTV", an intergalactic/Tomorrowland themed parody of MTV which played music, advertisements, and the Pan-Galactic News Network. This news network was sponsored by X-S Tech, the evil alien mega-corporation from ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter.

  • The FX-1 teleport was named for former sponsors, FedEx.
  • The number code on the spacecraft over the lift-hill is, "X-1", possibly a tribute to the defunct X-1 Space Station attraction. This may also connect it to the X-2 Space Shuttle from Mission: SPACE in EPCOT.

  • One of the advertisements is labelled 20,000 Light Years Under the Sea, referencing 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
  • The station identifying "Tomorrowland Station MK-1" references the Magic Kingdom, and how it is the first iteration of Space Mountain.
  • The approval code at the command station is "O-KI-DO-KI" as a play on "Okie Dokie".
  • The list of "Closed Sectors" tributes closed Magic Kingdom attractions. These include:

  • The code "H-NCH (SM1975)" tributes Imagineer John Hench and Space Mountain's opening year of 1975.

Tomorrowland Launch Depot[]

  • The sign/clock depicts silhouettes of Space Mountain, the original rocket from Rocket Jets, and spires which once adorned Tomorrowland's entrance gate.[22]

Tron Lightcycle Power Run[]

  • The space which Lightcycle Power Run was built on was previously reserved for a potential Magic Kingdom counterpart to Matterhorn Bobsleds.
  • One of the members of Team Orange is Rinzler, a supporting antagonist from Tron: Legacy who was actually the brainwashed version of Tron. The nature of his presence is unknown given his death in the second movie.

Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress[]

  • John will frequently aggrandize historic inventor Thomas Edison, despite Edison not being responsible for the inventions and instead having taken them from workers and rivals to patent under his own name. This is due to the attraction having been sponsored by Edison's company General Electric who profit off of romanticizing and revising Edison's history.
  • The newspaper which John holds in the turn-of-the-century sequence is dated to July 25, 1863 and is modelled after Frank Leslie’s Illustrated Newspaper.[23]

  • In the turn-of-the-century scene, Sarah is shown doing laundry alongside a young girl who is never shown as part of the family nor appears in any other part of the attraction. The girl's identity is a mystery.[24]
  • The 1964 version has the same whistling/tweeting birds seen in Mary Poppins, which was released the same year
  • Yen Sid's sorcerer's hat appears in Patricia's room in the 1940s sequence.
  • In 2022, the current-day version of John was given an apron which reads "My Food Rocks". This is a tribute to defunct EPCOT attraction, Food Rocks.
  • Jimmy's Christmas slippers have reindeer designs resembling those seen in the parks at parades.
  • Jimmy's shirt has a logo resembling the logo of Disney's unbuilt Disney's Mineral King Ski Resort.[25]

ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter[]

  • The attraction was originally supposed to be based on the classic horror-film Alien (1979) and still has influence from said film.
  • In the original premise, X-S would have intentionally released the monster to test its killing capabilities.
  • The entrance identified the demonstration of X-S Technology as having been made possible by the Tomorrowland Chamber of Commerce.
  • Promotions for upcoming presentations played in the queue for:[26][27]
    • " CANIS MAJOR KENNEL CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP PET SHOW SPONSORED BY DOGGY d’LITE ZERO GRAVITY DOG FOOD BECAUSE WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR SPACE PET WHAT GOES DOWN MUST NOT COME UP"
    • " LEAGUE OF PLANETS INTERSTELLAR DEBATE ON SPACE SCIENCE MISSION TO MARS: HISTORY OR HOAX? WITH PROFESSOR TOM MORROW". This referenced the League of Planets organization from the Astro Orbiter, Tom Morrow from Rocket to the Moon, and the plot of Mission to Mars.
    • "THE WALT DISNEY COMPANY PAN-GALACTIC STOCKHOLDERS MEETING FEATURING HOLOGRAPHIC TRANSMISSIONS FROM LUNAR DISNEYLAND THE HAPPIEST PLACE OFF EARTH"
    • "TOMORROWLAND SWAP MEET WHERE TODAY'S TECHNO TRASH IS TOMORROW'S TRENDY TREASURE PREVIOUSLY OWNED ROBOTS · DISCOUNT DATA DUMP SEMI-LITERATE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCES".
    • "ANTIQUE ROCKET SHOW & INTERGALACTIC FLY-IN BLAST TO THE PAST OF CLASSIC SPACECRAFT! MULTI-STAGE CONVERTIBLES · SUB-ORBITAL SPACE SAUCERS CUSTOMIZED HYPERSPACE HOT RODS". This connected to posters found elsewhere in Tomorrowland promoting the same event. The spacecraft mentioned may have referenced the attractions Flying Saucers and Rocket Rods.
    • "ANDROID INTERNATIONAL HOME & OFFICE ROBOTICS X-PO FEATURING SPECIAL GUEST MR. LINCOLN MK 4 AUDIO-ANIMATRONIC STAR OF LUNAR DISNEYLAND THE HAPPIEST PLACE OFF EARTH™". This referenced the attraction Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln.
  • The robot character was originally the less sinister "T.O.M. 2000" named after Tom Morrow and voiced by Phil Hartman. He was replaced by the more sinister and memorable S.I.R. played by Tim Curry.

Stitch's Great Escape![]

  • Stitch's Great Escape! repurposed the basic attraction systems of horror-attraction ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter.
  • Outside the building was a plaque in alien alphabet dedicating the construction of the Teleportation Center. It read "DEDICATION This Galactic Federation Prisoner Teleport Center is hereby dedicated to the preservation of peace and harmony throughout the galaxy by protecting the nice from the naughty. The Grand Councilwomen 2004 November 16". This additionally referenced the attraction's opening date.
  • Sergeant C4703BK2704-90210 is named in tribute to 1990s drama show, Beverley Hills 90210.
  • Skippy is a character from ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter where he was tortured then disintegrated by S.I.R.. His mutilated form was repurposed to represent the Donut Guy.
  • Machinery and chairs within the Galactic Federation Prisoner Teleport Center bore the logo for X-S Tech, the evil alien tech corporation from ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter.
  • The attraction had the fairly large plot-hole of Stitch already going by the name Stitch, before landing on Earth where he was named by Lilo.
  • One of the theatres had alien text on the wall which translated to "Mickey" and "Mouse".[28]

Stitch's Supersonic Celebration[]

  • There were pre-show advertisements for Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, with the logo and reference to attraction in-fitting with its characterization as part of the Tomorrowland Chamber of Commerce.
  • The screen sometimes showed the Tomorrowland Metro-Retro Historical Society wishing attendees a Happy Galaxy Day.
  • Robo-Mart's advertisements features them selling Tom Morrow 2.0 from EPCOT's Innoventions, alongside the Timekeeper and 9-Eye from the Timekeeper. Tom Morrow 2.0 likewise appeared as weatherman for the TNN.
  • While assembling his robots, Stitch passes by the options for S.I.R.'s head from ExtraTERRORestrial and the original Tom Morrow's head from Disneyland's Innoventions.
  • When Stitch uses RoboMart, a screen pops up mentioning that it is a subsidiary of X-S Tech, the evil tech corporation from ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter.

The Timekeeper[]

  • The screen under the Timekeeper showed the year 1995 when it opened, and 2000 during use in the 2000s due to footage of New York City showing the Twin Towers, which were destroyed in the year 2001
