Origins[]
The Magic Mirror's origins are unknown. The mirror used to belong to the Evil Queen who used it every day to ask if she was fairest of them all. When one day, the mirror answered the true fairest was her step-daughter Snow White, it caused the Queen to be filled with jealousy and try to kill the little princess before dying in the process. Trivia[]
- In the Sorcerer's Workshop, the mirror had zodiac signs of different Disney characters around it, with appearances or identities similar to the signs' affiliated constellation. These included:
- Taurus: Bull from Lady & the Tramp.
- Gemini: Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum from Alice in Wonderland.
- Cancer: Sebastian from the Little Mermaid.
- Leo: Simba from the Lion King.
- Virgo: Snow White.
- Libra: Lumiere from Beauty & the Beast.
- Scorpio: The Leviathan from Atlantis: The Lost Empire.
- Sagittarius: Robin Hood from Robin Hood.
- Capricorn: Djali the goat from the Hunchback of Notre Dame.
- Aquarius: King Triton from the Little Mermaid.
- Pisces: Cleo the goldfish from Pinocchio.
- Aries: Philoctetes from Hercules.
- King Magnifico from Wish is shown centre-stage in the Magic Mirror during the group villain scene of Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After, in spite of the critical and commercial panning as well as infamous unpopularity of Disney's Wish. This is likely due to how the movie ended in Magnifico getting sucked into a mirror, possibly implied to be that from Snow White.
