Carlos' Wife, known in concept-art as The Magistrate's Lady is the conjectural name for a character from Pirates of the Caribbean. She is voiced by June Foray.
History[]
Background[]
This was a Spanish woman in the 18th century who lived in the town of Puerto Dorado on the island of Isla Tesoro. She was wife of the town magistrate Carlos, and seemed to be aware of his knowledge of the island's hidden treasure or his connection to pirate Captain Jack Sparrow. When Sparrow's enemy Barbossa came to the isle to raid it with his ship The Wicked Wench, Carlos was dunked in a well and interrogated by a member of Barbossa's crew, as his wife yelled at him from a window to not be chicken and to not tell them anything. The pirates responded by trying to shoot at Carlos' wife from her window.
The character's ultimate fate is unknown, though it is known that the pirates were successful in stealing the treasure, burning the town to the ground, and turning its ruins into their lair.
