Mr. Toad's Wild Ride was a dark ride attraction located in Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom, based on The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad (1949). The attraction was closed in 1998 to make way for The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
Ride synopsis[]
Guests board motorcars and violently turn while dodging falling books in Toad Hall. They then crash into a fireplace, scattering embers and sparks before turning and dodging a tumbling suit of armor. They then rush down a hallway, crash into Mole's dining room, and nearly fall into a river while avoiding shouting cops. Falling through a crowded London alley, guests crash into an active TNT storage area, causing an explosion. As they crash down a street and into a bar where the barman ducks for cover, they cause chaos in the town square, before facing the jury who proclaims them guilty for their actions. Speeding down a jail, they almost get run over by a speeding train, before entering a hell-like scene with fire and devils. Narrowly escaping a dragon who attempts to torch them with fire before choking, guests return to the loading area before exiting the car.
