The Old Prospector is the conjectural name for a Frontierland character originating from Mine Train Through Nature's Wonderland. He is voiced by Dallas McKennon.

Background[]
This man was a prospector for the Big Thunder Mining Company by around the 1880s-1890s. He was known for warning guests boarding their ghost trains that it was the, "Wildest ride in the wilderness". Around the 1890s, he and several other prospectors began using abandoned mine-trains to give tours of nature's wonders in the vicinity of the town Rainbow Ridge.

The character originates as the host of Mine Train Through Nature's Wonderland voiced by Dallas McKennon. When Big Thunder Mountain Railroad replaced the attraction, he reprised his role for the safety spiel.
