Phina the Gray Fox is a character from Tiana's Bayou Adventure.
History[]
Background[]
Phina was an imaginative gray fox living in the bayou outside of New Orleans in the 1920s. Phina was a member of Rara Fauna, a Rara style musical group of critters in the bayou where Phina played a drum made from a log and other bayou items.
On February 27, 1927, Rara Fauna was found by Princess Tiana and Louis the Alligator then recruited to join their Bayou Community Band and play at Fleur du Bayou. The Bayou Community Band would go on to perform nightly at the bayou's "Critter Co-Op". Phina and Louis also starred in a performance at the Tiana's Palace restaurant.
