The Ringmaster is a character from Dumbo (1941).
History[]
Background[]
The Ringmaster was an Italian leader of the WDP Circus during the early 20th century. His business mistreated some of their animals, underpaid their performers, and keeping the (predominately black) employees made to put up the circus tent in poor conditions. After failing to be top of an elephant pyramid, the ringmaster made the baby elephant Dumbo into a mistreated clown. Dumbo later proved able to fly and became the star of the circus.

The Ringmaster appears on one of the murals on the side of the ride. In Walt Disney World, his likeness appears on a mix-and-match game in the queue.
