Scuttle is a character from the Little Mermaid (1989).

History[]

Background[]

Scuttle was a seagull around the 19th century who (often incorrectly) identified human items for the mermaid princess, Ariel. Scuttle assisted Ariel in romancing Prince Eric and defeating the sea-witch Ursula.

After this, Scuttle was seemingly allowed in Ariel and Eric's palace, having a collection of items in the caverns below. Scuttle would tell the story of the Little Mermaid to some while playing concertina amongst shipwreck debris.

Appearances[]
