The Singing Geese or Goose Quartet are characters from America Sings. They were voiced by Bill Cole, Jerry Whitman, Gene Merlino, and Bill Lee.
History[]
Background[]
A variety of anthropomorphic geese lived in Chickapin Hill during the 19th century. Various of these geese including Br'er Goose would fish in the mountain's, "Fishin' Place".
Development history[]
The geese were designed by Marc Davis for Tomorrowland attraction America Sings. When said attraction was shut down, the geese were moved to Splash Mountain. However, two of the geese were stripped of their plumage and used for Star Tours to depict the GT unite, "Goose Droids", G2-9T and G2-4T. In 2023, Splash Mountain was shut down to make way for Tiana's Bayou Adventure, and the geese were removed.
Appearances[]
America Sings[]

Splash Mountain[]
The geese appear within this attraction. They are most notably seen during the, "How do you do" musical scene. In the queue for the Magic Kingdom's Splash Mountain, there was a painting of one of the fishing geese identifying it as, "Br'er' Goose".

Star Tours: The Adventures Continue[]
The GT-units are nicknamed, "Goose Droids" as a tribute to the America Sings characters. Droids will also be heard singing, "I've Been Working on the Same Droid, all the livelong day" and "I've Been Looking at the Same Bag, all the livelong day", as a reference to the geese singing, "I've been working on the railroad" in America Sings.
Trivia[]
