Statler and Waldorf are a pair of characters from the Muppet Show. They are best knock for constantly heckling and negatively commenting on the Muppet Show, particularly the comedy stylings of Fozzie Bear.

Statler and Waldorf are a pair of old men who frequent the Muppet Show, always attending from a box in their theatre. They vocally dislike the Muppet Show, heckling it (particularly Fozzie Bear). The two attended Muppet*Vision 3D in the Grand Arts Theatre, claiming it was because they entered a contest and lost.

Statler and Waldorf appear as audio-animatronic characters in their booth, dressed in vacation outfits. In the queue, their booth is referred to as the "Curmudgeons in Chief" of the Grand Arts Theater's "Institute of Heckling & Browbeating".
Throughout the attraction, they heckle the Muppets as well as the guests. Cut-outs of Statler and Waldorf appear outside-of the attraction with the exchange "I hear Muppet*Vision 3D is better than getting hit on the head with a 2 by 4" "I won't believe that till I see it! Let's go in!".[1]

Trivia[]
- The two break the fourth wall at the end of Muppet Vision 3D, mentioning they can't leave because they are bolted to the seats (as audio-animatronics).
