Origins[]
Sweetums was a Muppet ogre who worked as a Jack for the used car dealership of "Mad Man Mooney". Working here, he met Kermit the Frog, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo & Camilla who were travelling to Hollywood in hopes of making it big. Sweetums assisted them by swatting a fly over the $1197 sign of a car, punctuating it to be $11.97 which when combined with the $12 trade-in on their original vehicle, caused Mad Man Mooney to owe them a nickel.
Kermit offered Sweetums the opportunity to join them on their trip to Hollywood, causing Sweetums to run-off. Kermit then drove off, not realizing Sweetums was grabbing his belongings to join them. Sweetums then ran across the country to join with the rest of the Muppets, eventually meeting with them in Hollywood after they signed their "Rich & Famous" Contract, bursting through the screen at the end of that respective movie. After this, Sweetums became a performer in the Muppet Show.
Muppet*Vision 3D[]
Sweetums was one of the Muppets who worked on Muppet*Vision 3D in the Grand Arts Theatre. During the show, he used a paddle-ball as a 3D effect, which Fozzie complimented. When Bean Bunny went missing, Sweetums ran into the audience asking for help in finding the rabbit until they found him in the box opposite to Statler & Waldorf.
After Waldo C. Graphic set a fire in the orchestra section during the big finale, Sweetums ran out with a bucket of water to try and save the penguin musicians. The penguins proceeded to emerge with a cannon which they shot at Waldo C. Graphic while Sweetums pleaded that he was sorry for getting them wet. The cannon blasted at the Swedish Chef's projection booth, angering the Chef who shot back at Waldo C. Graphic while Sweetums was caught out in the crossfire. The chef then pulled out his own cannon which broke down a wall in the Grand Arts Theatre, ending the show.

Disney's Hollywood Studios[]
Sweetums appeared as a construction worker in the Disney's Stars and Motor Cars Parade. He has also been a meet & greet character on rare occasion.
Muppet*Vision 3D[]
A cut-out of Sweetums using his paddleball is near the entrance. In the show, Sweetums is complimented on using his paddle-ball trick by Fozzie while walking through the void. When Bean Bunny goes missing, Sweetums exits the movie to run around the audience (portrayed by a cast-member), and look for Bean. Sweetums later returns with a bucket to put out the fire.
PizzeRizzo[]
The Pizza Eating Contest Hall of Fame identifies Sweetums as having won the 4th, and 17th annual eating contests at PizzeRizzo.[2]
