The Alien is the conjectural name for the titular antagonist of the defunct horror-attraction ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter.
Description[]
History[]
Background[]
This alien was seemingly the inhabitant of an unidentified alien planet, which got teleported to Earth by a teleportation system made by X-S Technology to transport Chairman Clench to Earth. The alien was transported into the middle of the Tomorrowland Interplanetary Convention Center instead of Clench, where it went on a rampage and killed various people within the building. Ultimately, the alien was lured back into its teleportation tube where it was captured and/or seemingly disintegrated by X-S Tech.
Development history[]
The alien was inspired by the Xenomorph from Ridley Scott's science-fiction/horror classic, Alien (1979). In the original script for the attraction, X-S Tech would have released the alien on guests intentionally to use humans as human guinea-pigs to test the aliens' capability as a living weapon. For a variety of speculated reasons, the attraction was turned into the more child-friendly (albeit near universally despised) attraction, Stitch's Great Escape! where the alien was replaced by Stitch.
Appearances[]
ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter[]
The alien was the antagonist whom guests were trapped in the room with in this attraction.
Trivia[]
- The Alien's audio-animatronic was repurposed for Journey to the Center of the Earth to depict the Lava Monster.
