The Crocodile is a character from Peter Pan.

History[]

Background[]

The Crocodile is a creature of Neverland, associated with living in Crocodile Creek. When Peter Pan chopped off the hand of the pirate who would become Captain Hook, Pan fed the hand to the crocodile. The crocodile liked the taste of the captain so much that it followed the pirate ever since, hoping to devour the rest. However, the crocodile also swallowed a clock causing it to emit a ticking noise which would warn the captain of its presence.

When Peter Pan banished Captain Hook from Neverland, he sent the captain falling into the waters with the crocodile. Captain Hook was then chased swimming into the horizon by the crocodile, with his crew following after in an effort to save their captain.

Appearances[]
