Origins[]
Trixie was an overweight anthropomorphic bear during the 19th century. She was a veteran performer who travelled the West, being known as nicknames including the Calgary Charmer, Alaska Allurer, Vancouver Vamp, Bewitcher of British Columbia, and the Tacoma Temptress.
Country Bear Jamboree[]
Around the late 19th/early 20th century, Trixie became employed by the Country Bears, performing in Grizzly Hall from a swing suspended from the ceiling. In her free-time, Trixie scrap-booked and planned on writing a book titled, "I Bearly Remember". Trixie eventually published a book based on her scrapbooks called I Bearly Remember with the subtitle, " Trixie: Famous From Tacoma to Tampa".
While performing and staying in Florida, she became known as The Tampa Temptation. Trixie and fellow Country Bear "Ernest the Dude" starred in a film called "Beary Poppins".
Country Bear Musical Jamboree[]
Fellow Country Bears, Bunny, Bubbles and Beulah AKA "The Sun Bonnet Trio" would join Trixie's act. The three girls traded in their bonnets for stetsons and performed with Trixie in venues such as the Royal Ursa Hall.[1]

Trixie was designed by Marc Davis, and originally voiced by Cheryl Poole. Later versions of the character were voiced by Suzanne Sherwin. Trixie got her last name from the critically panned 2002 film adaptation of the attraction, The Country Bears.
