Uku and Lele are a pair of sentient volcanoes in Hawaii who fell in-love and merged to become Ukulele Island.
History[]
Background[]
A, "Long long time ago", Uku was a lonely male volcano yearning for love as he slowly sank into the ocean over the course of millions of years. Lele was an underwater volcano who used her power and determination to rise the both of them up together.
By around the 1950s, the island seemed to have been visited by the ancient, "Trader Sam".

Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar[]
There is a post-card in the bar from, "Ukulele Island" showing Uku & Lele together. This detail was added in a 2020s modification to the bar, removing some previous, dated decor.[1]
Trader Sam's Grog Grotto[]
Lava is referenced via a book in the cabinet titled, "Lava; Songs of Hawaii". Unlike the Enchanted Tiki Bar reference, this allusion appeared early in the bar's days.
