Weevil Kneevil was an acorn weevil, known for his acrobatic abilities. Mai T. Oak of The Acorn Street Journal said, “You’ll go nuts over his act.” about Weevil.
It's Tough to Be a Bug![]
Weevil was one of the performers in Flik's show, "It's Tough to be a Bug!" in the Tree of Life Theater below the Tree of Life on Discovery Island. The point of this show was to encourage humans (shrunken to see the performance) a better perception of bugs for better inter-species relations.
Weevil went on stage while the quill-throwing tarantula Chili was performing, firing venomous quills at acorns. He accidentally got caught in the sling launching acorns, causing him to be launched into the line of fire. Weevil managed to dodge Chili's shots, aggravating the tarantula while mocking him. Weevil then flew away with Chili chasing after.

- Weevil was named after historic daredevil, Evel Knievel (1938-2007).
- One of the roots on the Tree of Life has small holes where guests can see bug figures inside.[1] A weevil inside may reference Weevil.
