Wilby Daniels was protagonist of The Shaggy Dog (1959).
History[]
Wilby Daniels was a student who happened upon a magical ring that previously belonged to Lucrezia Borgia (1480-1519). When Wilby read the inscription of the ring, "In Canis Corpore Transmuto", it transformed him into an old English sheepdog. Wilby was eventually able to break the curse.
Around the 1990s, Wilby was a member of the Imagination Institute of EPCOT.

Wilby has appeared at the parks as a walk-around character in Shaggy Dog form.
Journey Into Imagination with Figment[]
Wilby Daniels' name is amongst those on signs outside of the computer lab.
Trivia[]
- Wilby's original actor Tommy Kirk also portrayed Merlin Jones, another character which Journey Into Imagination with Figment identifies as a member of the Imagination Institute.
- Wilby is one of the few Imagination Institute members who is more magical than scientific in nature.
