Zydeco Rainbow was a Zydeco band of animals in the bayou outside of New Orleans during the 1920s.
Members[]
- Apollo the Raccoon: Apollo the Raccoon is an energetic raccoon who played a squeezebox which he made from items found in the bayou.
- Beau the Opossum: An opossum who played a bass made from a gourd and a rake.

- Gritty the Rabbit: A rabbit who uses a licence plate as an instrument.
- Rufus the Turtle: Rufus the Turtle was a sarcastic turtle who played harmonica.

Background[]
This band of animals had formed by 1927. On the February 27th of 1927, the band was found by Princess Tiana and Louis the Alligator during their hunt for musicians. The two recruited the critters to join the Bayou Community Band, and performed with said band at Tiana's party in Fleur du Bayou. During this performance, Byhalia used her tail to play on the centre drum on a drum-set for the Bayou Community Band, being played by Prince Ralphie of Maldonia.
The Bayou Community Band would go on the play nightly at "Critter Co-op" in the bayou. Zydeco Rainbow was also listed as performing here.
